Northrop Grumman (NOC) Wins $240M Contract with Lockheed (LMT)

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) today announced that it has received a 56-month contract from Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) worth up to $240 million, if all options are exercised, to provide critical technologies for the Airborne and Maritime/Fixed Station Joint Tactical Radio System. An initial $186.7 million subcontract has been awarded focused on the software-defined radio development for AMF JTRS.

As Lockheed Martin's teammate, Northrop Grumman has the responsibility for leading the Joint Tactical Radio integrated product team and co-development of the JTR small airborne hardware and software.
