When it comes to apps, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has a little catching up to do. But, that might be made a little easier very soon.
According to reports out Tuesday, Nokia might garner a 60-day exclusivity for Zynga's (Nasdaq: ZNGA) Draw Something and Words With Friends apps for its Lumia line when the games hit the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone app store later in 2012.
The deal highlights Microsoft's commitment to Nokia, which has been in question since the unveiling of Microsoft's Surface tablets. After all, if Microsoft can make a tablet, why not a smartphone? (Yes, we know there's much more that goes into a smartphone than a tablet.)
Microsoft and Zynga are also indicated lower Tuesday morning.
