Netflix (NFLX) Strengthens DVD Commitment, Said to Have Bought DVD.com Domain

Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) wishes it could quit you, DVD rentals.
Affirming its commitment for the DVD segments, domain name blog DomainNameWire (DNW) said Netflix bought-up DVD.com. According to the site and individual tests, going to DVD.com now directs you to dvd.netflix.com.
DNW reports that around March 25th, nameservers for DVD.com switched from worldnic.com to ULTRADNS.NET, which Netflix uses as a DNS provider.
No purchase price or speculation of purchase price was given.
DNW said it also received a statement from Netflix, which read: "Netflix cares about keeping DVD healthy, and this is just one small investment in keeping DVD healthy."
Shares of Netflix are looking healthy Friday, up 1.3 percent on the session.
