NY AG Expands Mortgage Probe to Include JPMorgan, UBS, Deutsche Bank (JPM) (UBS) (DB)
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has expanded a probe into mortgage securities.
While the probe was already said to include Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), BofA (NYSE: BAC) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), the regulator's investigation will now also include JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM), UBS (NYSE: UBS) and Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB).
Ambac, MBIA (NYSE: MBI), Syncora and Assured Guaranty (NYSE: AGO) were said to be subpoened.
The probe is said to focus on loan securitization and packaging.
While the probe was already said to include Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), BofA (NYSE: BAC) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), the regulator's investigation will now also include JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM), UBS (NYSE: UBS) and Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB).
