THQ Inc (Nasdaq: THQI) 26% LOWER; reports Q3 non-GAAP loss of $0.14, 21 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $357.3 million, versus the consensus of $403.39 million. THQ also announced it will cut 600 jobs. The company also said it wouldn't give guidance given the economic environment.

Gartner Inc. (NYSE: IT) 24% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.35, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter was $347.3 million, versus the consensus of $333.1 million. Gartner sees FY09 EPS of $0.63-$0.87, versus the consensus of $1.02. Sees FY09 revs of $1.1-$1.16 billion, versus the consensus of $1.29 billion

Corporate Executive Board Company (Nasdaq: EXBD) 19% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.50, ex-items, 7 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter was $136.7 million, versus the consensus of $141.20 million. CEB also announces its Q1 2009 quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share. Sees FY09 sales of $445-$475 million, versus the consensus of $567.8 million, with EPS of $1.30-$1.60, versus the consensus of $2.13.

RightNow Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNOW) 19% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.06, ex-items, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter was $36.1 million, versus the consensus of $36.89 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.02-$0.04, versus the consensus of $0.01 and revs of $36-$37 million, versus the consensus of $37.8 million. Sees FY09 revs of $150-$155 million, versus the consensus of $160.7 million and EPS of $0.15-$0.23, versus the consensus of $0.12.

Life Time Fitness (NYSE: LTM) 15% LOWER; expects to report revenue in the range of $192-$194 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.31-$0.34 for Q4 2008. (Consensus is $199.68 million and $0.52) Revenue for the year is expected to be $768-$770 million and diluted earnings per share is expected to be $1.80-$1.83 for the year. The Company previously provided guidance of $775-$780 million in revenue and diluted earnings per share of $2.01-$2.04 for 2008. (Consensus is $774.99 million and $2.01)

Art Technology Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ARTG) 13% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.06, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $45.4 million, versus the consensus of $40.8 million.

Ebix Inc. (NASDAQ: EBIX) 13% HIGHER; will replace 4 Kids Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: KDE) in the S&P SmallCap 600.

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) 12% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.56, ex-items, 13 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter was $180.3 million, versus the consensus of $165.59 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.66-$1.91, versus the consensus of $1.68 and revs of $630-$700 million, versus the Street estimate of $690.6 million.

CommVault (Nasdaq: CVLT) 12% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.15, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter was $60.1 million, versus the consensus of $63.33 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $0.57-$0.62, versus the consensus of $0.66 and revs of $241-$245 million, versus the consensus of $247 million.

Opnext (Nasdaq: OPXT) 10% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of ($0.10), versus the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $70.5 million, versus the consensus of $73.88 million. Opnext sees Q4 revenue $80M to $90M versus consensus of $98.34 million.

Concur Technologies (Nasdaq: CNQR) 10% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.11, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $58.6 million, versus the consensus of $58.35 million.

Harman International Industries (NYSE: HAR) 10.6% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.18, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter was $756 million, versus the consensus of $797.92 million. Cutting an additional 1,100 jobs, hiring freeze and suspending 401(k) matches.

Badger Meter (NYSE: BMI) 10% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.42, versus the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $67.6 million, versus the consensus of $59.81 million.

NewAlliance Bancshares Inc. (NYSE: NAL) 9% HIGHER; will replace Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: MOD) in the S&P MidCap 400.

Blackboard, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBBB) 8.9% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.28, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $85 million, versus the consensus of $83.92 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.21-$0.27, versus the consensus of $0.24. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.34-$1.57, versus the Street estimate of $1.18 and revs of $361-$373 million, versus the consensus of $369 million.

Atmel Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) 8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.01, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter was $334.6 million, versus the consensus of $338.61 million. Sees Q1 revenue for internal purposes $290 million versus consensus of $309M.

BMC Software (NYSE: BMC) 8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.64, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter was $488 million, versus the consensus of $487.58 million. Re-affirms forecast for revenue and bookings. Sees a boost in FY09 EPS $2.20 to $2.30 versus $2.19 consensus.

Akamai Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) 7.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.44, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $212.6 million, versus the consensus of $205.46 million.

MasterCard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) 7% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $1.87, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter was $1.2 billion, versus the consensus of $1.2 billion. Q4 gross dollar volume up 3.4%; purchase volume up 3.1%.

Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) 7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.78, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Revenue for the quarter was $1.7 billion, versus the consensus of $1.68 billion. Reaffirms forecast. Sees annual net revenue growth in the high single digit range.

O2 Micro (Nasdaq: OIIM) 6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of ($0.19), versus the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter was $22.7 million, versus the consensus of $21.34 million.

Power Integrations (Nasdaq: POWI) 6% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.15, 4 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $42.4 million, versus the consensus of $42.01 million.

Dell Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) 5.6% LOWER; JP Morgan downgrades

Novellus Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: NVLS) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.21, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.17). Revenue for the quarter was $188.5 million, versus the consensus of $189.47 million.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) 5% LOWER; General fears about the U.S. banking sector

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL) 4% HIGHER; Goldman upgrades to Buy

Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) 4% HIGHER; said comparable store sales decreased 14.8% in January. Total net sales for the period fell 2%. Zumiez said, based on better than expected sales and margins for the fourth quarter, it expects to be at the high end of its previously announced diluted earnings per share guidance range of $0.52 to $0.57 for the fiscal year ending January 31, 2009. The consensus is $0.54.

Moody's (NYSE: MCO) 4% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.37 per share, ex-items, above the consensus of $0.28. Revenues came in at $403.7 million, versus the consensus of $387.1 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.40-$1.50 versus the consensus of $1.57. Sees FY08 revenue down single digits.

Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) 1.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.32, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $9.1 billion, versus the consensus of $9 billion
