Sauer-Danfoss (NYSE: SHS) 31% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $2.09, may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.43). Revenues for the quarter were $371.4 million, versus the consensus of $405.2 million. Sees FY09 loss 1.60 to 2.40.

Carmike Cinemas (Nasdaq: CKEC) 30% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $2.27 not comparable to the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenues for the quarter were $117.4 million, versus the consensus of $115.48 million.

Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) 24% LOWER; because of the lack of visibility caused by the current economic conditions, its prior third quarter and full fiscal year 2009 guidance is no longer applicable. MORE

Star Bulk Carriers (Nasdaq: SBLK) 20% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.41, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $72.8 million, versus the consensus of $59.55 million.

Zhongpin (Nasdaq: HOGS) 14% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.31, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter were $139.8 million, versus the consensus of $140.39 million. Zhongpin sees FY09 EPS of $1.50 to $1.63 versus consensus $1.49. Sees FY09 revenue of $780M to $810M versus consensus $781.38M.

Alcoa (NYSE: AA) 11% LOWER; will reduce its dividend, offering $1.1B of common stock and convertible notes. MORE
