Fox Business Network's Charlie Gasparino reporting Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) President and CEO James Gorman is telling investors everything is "okay." Gasparino has also cited Gorman as saying the bank's third-quarter results will likely beat the venerable Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS).
Gasparino reported: "Gorman is also indicating that third quarter earnings are going to be pretty good and it looks like the third quarter are likely to beat Goldman's."
Morgan Stanley shares are currently ticking higher with the broader stock market. At last check, shares of Morgan Stanley were up 3 percent to $14.43.
