According to reports Wednesday, a set of gunmen who loaded up a van with canisters of gas, decided to ram said van into the side of a Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) building in Athens, Greece. Unsatisfied with the results, the men set the van on fire.

The gunmen fired no shots in the event and no one was reported injured. It appears the incident was just a demonstration, given the event took place at 3:45am local time (9:45pm EDT Tuesday night). Security guards and only the most dedicated of workers would be walking the halls that early in the morning.

Damage to the ground floor of the building ended up being around €60,000, according to initial estimates.

Though extremist groups have taken claims for such attacks in Greece in the past, no party has come forward as of the latest reports.
