MediciNova (MNOV) Reports Positive Preliminary Results from Phase II Clinical Trial of MN-221

MediciNova, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNOV) reported positive preliminary results from a Phase II clinical trial evaluating MN-221 in patients with moderate to severe, stable asthma. This is one of two Phase II clinical trials being conducted to evaluate MN-221 in various populations of asthma patients. This clinical trial provided information on prolonged infusion dosing regimens with MN-221, and the preliminary results demonstrated clinically significant improvements in forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1).
