MTC (MTCT) Awarded $23 Million to Perform Air Force Long Haul Communications
MTC Technologies (Nasdaq: MTCT) announced today it has been awarded a $23 million contract to perform Long Haul Communications and Information Technology Support Services. The five-year, firm fixed price contract was awarded by the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) for the Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA/ESLM), Scott AFB, Illinois.
MTC will be responsible for IT solutions for several communications systems essential to enable the Departments of the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Defense Logistics Agency to provide telecommunications acquisition and circuit management services for their respective military service's management functions, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and other DoD customers. Such systems consist of: Air Force Long Haul Communications (LHC); Mobile Satellite Services (MSS); Personal Wireless Communications Services (PWCS); Teleport Communications Systems and Architecture; Telecommunications Certification Office Support System (TCOSS); and Facility Circuit Information Tracking (FaCIT).
MTC delivers Warfighter solutions involving systems engineering, information technology, intelligence, and program management services primarily to the Department of Defense.
