LightInTheBox Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: LITB) announced that sales on Black Friday, which took place on November 25, 2016, increased 10.0% when compared to Black Friday last year. Black Friday, a sales period which marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the U.S. and Europe, traditionally generates the Company's highest daily sales per year.
Mr. Alan Guo, Chairman and CEO of LightInTheBox, commented, "I am pleased to see sales increase 10% year-over-year on Black Friday. We are starting to see the benefits from the restructuring of our supply chain which is having a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction.
