Legacy Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: LEGC) announced today that its Board of Directors authorized a stock repurchase program for the purchase of up to 439,095 shares of the Company’s common stock or approximately 5% of its outstanding common stock.
The Company also announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per common share. The dividend will be paid on April 1, 2009, to stockholders of record as of March 20, 2009.
