Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW) Acquires Via Verde Complex for $65.7 Million

Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW) acquired Via Verde, a 277-unit apartment complex in Huntington Beach, CA for $65.7 million. In line with the company’s strategy of securing long-term fixed rate financing, Kennedy Wilson placed a $47.8 million ten-year loan on the property from Freddie Mac at 3.59%.

This deal brings Kennedy Wilson’s total acquisitions for the second quarter of 2012 to $889 million, including $788 million of real estate and $101 million of loans secured by real estate.
