KIT digital (KITD) Gets $15M Contract to Expand Digital TV in India

KIT digital Inc. (NASDAQ: KITD), and Jain TV Group's Noida Software Technology Park Limited (NSPTL), the leading Indian provider of satellite broadcast infrastructure services, today announced the selection of KIT digital to design, build, and manage a new, state-of-the-art digital cable television distribution platform for India.
KIT digital, whose software and services facilitate broadcast and IPTV delivery for enterprises around the globe, is the solution architect and sole systems integrator for the HITS platform, managing the system deployment and contributions from technology partners Motorola Mobility and Intelsat. KIT digital will also provide managed services for the entire platform going forward after launch. The $15 million contract will run for five years.
