Jacobs Engineering (JEC) Receives UK Contract to Provide Services in Connection with AMP 5 CIP
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract from South East Water Ltd. of the United Kingdom to provide program management, design, construction, and construction management services associated with South East Water's estimated 400 million pounds Sterling (approx. $666.3 million) Asset Management Plan (AMP) 5 Capital Investment Programme (CIP) for 2010-2015. The contract includes the option to extend the provision of services through AMP6 to 2020.
Officials did not disclose the contract value.
Security and quality of supply will be improved through investment in new and improved water sources, water treatment and distribution networks around South East Water's regions.
