Image Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: DISK) announced it had entered into a multi-year agreement with NBC Universal Television Distribution to release 14 motion pictures originally produced for the SCI FI Channel's Saturday night movie franchise. The Channel is one of the biggest commissioners of original movies in the United States.
Image Entertainment, Inc. is an independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, with over 3,000 exclusive DVD titles and approximately 200 exclusive CD titles in domestic release and approximately 300 programs internationally via sublicense agreements.
