Today, hedge fund managers who shun the limelight, will testify on Capitol Hill later today. The hedge managers testifying include, Harbinger's Philip Falcone, Citadel's Ken Griffin, John Paulson, Renaissance Technology's James Simons and George Soros.
Likely topics may include how much leverage is used to achieve their investment returns and how the leverage compounds losses as trades go against them. The hedge fund managers will likely be asked about redemptions and their outlook on the market as well. Hopefully, they can enlighten the congressional panel and real solutions can come out of the meeting.
