General Dynamics' (GD) Bath Iron Works Wins $20.7M Contract from U.S. Navy

General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) subsidiary, Bath Iron Works, has won a $20.7 million contract with the U.S. Navy in which the subsidiary will provide ongoing Lead Yard Services for the DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-class AEGIS destroyer program. . This option-year exercise modifies a contract initially awarded in November, 2005 and extends the period of performance through June 30, 2009.

General Dynamics Corporation provides business aviation; combat vehicles, weapons systems, and munitions; shipbuilding design and construction; and information systems, technologies, and services.
