Fuel Tech (FTEK) Announces Receipt of $4.4M in Contracts

Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) today announced receipt of multiple air pollution control contracts totaling $4.4 million.

The largest of these orders, placed by a domestic electric utility, represents a nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction project on two medium-sized boilers utilizing HERT High Energy Reagent Technology systems in combination with Rich Reagent Injection (RRI) technology.

In addition to the foregoing, the following business was secured: mapping and demonstration orders from a new electric utility customer in the Midwest; a temperature mapping order from a new electric utility customer in the Western U.S.; domestic orders for a booster fan and flame scanners; and a contract for modeling and injectors from a Korean client.
