Fresenius Medical Care North America (NYSE: FMS) and its subsidiary, Fresenius USA Marketing, Inc. announced the closing of a distribution and supply agreement with Advanced Renal Technologies, Inc. This agreement grants U.S. supply and distribution rights to Fresenius USA Marketing, Inc., ("FUSA") for CITRASATE(R) and DRYalysate(R), citrate dialysate for hemodialysis for the End Stage Renal Disease patient population.
Operational and distribution planning is currently underway throughout Fresenius Medical Care's Renal Products Division to increase product availability nationwide and provide at a competitive pricing structure for chronic dialysis application.
With more than 20,000 employees, Fresenius Medical Care North America provides dialysis treatment, manufactures and distributes dialysis products, and performs diagnostic and laboratory testing for renal patients. [SM]
