Fannie Mae Says Citi (C), Wells Fargo (WFC) Effectively Helping Underwater Homeowners Pay Mortgages; BofA (BAC), JPMorgan (JPM) Not on List

Fannie Mae disclosed Thursday a list of banks which the company will likely deem satisfactory in assisting underwater homeowners pay mortgages.

Expected to receive "satisfactory" or better score:
  • Citi (NYSE: C)
  • Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC)
  • EverBank
  • Ally Financial
Expected to miss the satisfactory grade:
  • BofA (NYSE: BAC)
  • JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM)
  • MetLife (NYSE: MET)
  • PNC (NYSE: PNC)
  • SunTrust (NYSE: STI)
  • PHH Corp. (NYSE: PHH)
  • OneWest
