Electro Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEEI) received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market stating that the Company is not in compliance with the requirements for continued listing under the Marketplace Rules because it failed to timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended September 30, 2008 and that the Company may submit a plan of compliance on or before January 20, 2009 at which time NASDAQ may provide the Company with 180 days, or until May 18, 2009, to regain compliance. The Company intends to submit a plan of compliance on or before January 20, 2009.
