November 6, 2009 7:09 AM EST

Duncan-Williams downgrades eResearchTechnology (Nasdaq: ERES) to Hold.

Duncan analyst says, "We are downgrading ERES to a HOLD based on valuation. In our opinion, ERES has weathered the downturn in R&D spending, and the current stock price represents a fair valuation based on our revised revenue and EPS estimates. We look for improved business fundamentals and improved visibility in 2010. We believe ERES is a core holding in the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) sector...We are reducing our 2010 Service Revenue estimate to $73.8 million. Our 2010 Service Revenue estimate represents 15% growth compared to our 2009 estimate. We are reducing our 2010 Site Support Revenue estimate to $31.3 million. Our 2010 Site Support Revenue estimate represents 20% growth compared to our 2009 estimate."
