Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO) announced that its Ducommun AeroStructures, Inc. (DAS) subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the tailcone and fuselage doors on Embraer's recently announced Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 executive jets. The DAS contract is valued in excess of $100 million at currently anticipated build rates.
Ducommun AeroStructures manufactures large, complex structural components and assemblies in aluminum, specialty alloys such as titanium, metal bond and composites for a wide variety of military and commercial aerospace applications. [SM]
