Dow Jones Indexes Removes CyberSource (CYBS) From Internet Composite Index
Dow Jones Indexes announced that CyberSource Corp. (Nasdaq: CYBS) will be removed from the Dow Jones Internet Composite Index and sub-index Dow Jones Internet Services Index.
CyberSource Corp. will be replaced by Ebix Inc. (Nasdaq: EBIX). CyberSource Corp. is being removed due to its acquisition by Visa Inc. (NYSE: V).
The changes will be effective as of the open of trading on Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Dow Jones Indexes is the marketing name for CME Group Index Services LLC, a joint venture company which is owned 90 percent by CME Group Inc. (NYSE: CME) and 10 percent by Dow Jones & Company, Inc., a News Corporation company (Nasdaq: NWS) (Nasdaq: NWSA).
