Convera Corporation (Nasdaq: CNVR) has named Matthew G. Jones its chief financial officer (CFO), treasurer and secretary. Jones had been serving as acting CFO, treasurer and secretary since July.
Prior to joining Convera, Jones served as chief financial officer for Space Adventures, Ltd., a space tourism, entertainment and event-production company. Jones was also chief financial officer for PC Data, Inc., a computer products and services company, as well as for The Netplex Group, Inc., a technology services provider to government and commercial customers.
