Chevron (CVX) Plans to Spend $2.5B in Alternative/Renewable Energy Technologies Thru 2009
In its 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report released today, Chevron (NYSE: CVX) announced that it reduced its greenhouse gas emissions, increased its number of renewable energy research partnerships and invested approximately $119 million in communities around the world last year.
Furthermore, Chevron announced that it expects to spend approximately $2.5 billion from 2007 through 2009 in alternative and renewable energy technologies.
