Boeing (BA) Shares Up 3%+ After-Hours as DoD Says Co. Won $35B Air Force Tanker Contract

Shares of Boeing (NYSE: BA) now up 3.2% in after-hours trading amid headlines from the Department of Defense that the company has defeated EADS to win the $35 billion Air Force tanker contract.
According to reports from Bloomberg, Boeing will build 179 aerial refuelers over "decades." We are also hearing that Boeing has won a pact for KC-X development for 18 planes by 2017.
Boeing shares last traded at $73.25.
