Barclays (BCS) Confirms Talks To Sell Its iShares Unit

Today, Bob Diamond confirmed to CNBC's Maria Bartiromo that Barclays (NYSE: BCS) is in talks to sell its iShares Unit. By selling the unit, the company will have more cash and, hopefully, this will help them avoiding a capital infusion from the government. Maria said she expects something to be announced to later today or tomorrow.
