BankUnited (BKU) Prices 19.6M Common Secondary

BankUnited (NYSE: BKU) announced the pricing of an underwritten offering of 19,600,000 shares of its common stock by certain of its existing stockholders (collectively, the "Selling Stockholders") at $25.25 per share.

The Company will not receive any proceeds from the offering. In connection with the offering, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase an additional 2,940,000 shares in the offering from the Selling Stockholders.

The offering is being made pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 6, 2013.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Credit Suisse, Janney Montgomery Scott, J.P. Morgan, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, RBC Capital Markets and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as co-managers for the offering.
