Ballys Claims Against Int'l Game Tech (IGT) Dismissed

International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announces the dismissal of claims brought against it by Ballys have been dismissed by United States District Court Judge Robert C. Jones of the District of Nevada.

From the release:

"This lawsuit was originally filed in December 2004, and involved claims that Bally Technologies Corporation (formerly Alliance Gaming Corporation), Bally Gaming International, Inc. and Bally Gaming, Inc. infringed six IGT patents. Most of the patent claims had been previously dismissed. Bally had alleged that by asserting these patents IGT was attempting to monopolize the market. These antitrust claims were dismissed in the order issued on November 29, 2010."
