AuRico Gold (NYSE: AUQ) announced that it has entered into a settlement agreement related to a previously disclosed class action lawsuit pending in the Ontario Superior Court and initiated by Edward J. McKenna in 2008 against the Company and certain of its directors, officers and underwriters.
The settlement agreement, which provides for payment of $13.25 million to the settlement class, does not contain any admission of wrongdoing and is subject to certain conditions, including court approval.
