Arcadia Resources, Inc. (AMEX: KAD) announced today that it has opened a new DailyMed Pharmacy in California. Arcadia currently operates DailyMed pharmacies in Indianapolis, Ind. and Eden Prairie, Minn.
Arcadia said it will serve the California market through an agreement with SUPERVALU's ALBERTSONS Sav-On Pharmacy division to operate the DailyMed Pharmacy. The Carlsbad, Calif.-based pharmacy will be supported by DailyMed's unique medication adherence system and will dispense medication and ship products throughout the state.
DailyMed Pharmacy is Arcadia's proprietary medication adherence program that focuses on controlling healthcare costs for patients taking multiple medications including packaging prescriptions and over-the-counter medications into pre-sorted packets delivered directly to the home that show the correct time and day for patients to take their medications.
