Apple (AAPL) Kills iPhone Sales Estimates, Selling 3.8M For the Quarter
Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) sold 3.79 million iPhones in the quarter, which is above the Street estimate of 3.3 million. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster predicted 3.7 million iPhone units today based on the 1.6 million iPhone sales by AT&T for the quarter, reported earlier.
Apple sold 2.22 million Macs, and 11.01 million iPods during the quarter.
