American Vanguard (AVD) Files Action Against EPA Regarding Stop Sale Relief
American Vanguard Corporation (NYSE: AVD) announced that it has filed an action seeking emergency and injunctive relief from a Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order that USEPA against the U.S. EPA. The action is in regards to recently issued relating to the company’s USEPA-registered pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) product line.
Although the company did not identify trace impurities in the product in a submission to the agency called a confidential statement of formula, the agency issued the stop sale order.
