Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDRXD) announced that The Nasdaq OMX Group, Inc ("Nasdaq") has temporarily changed Allscripts' ticker symbol to "MDRXD". It is anticipated that Nasdaq will change Allscripts' ticker back to "MDRX" on October 20, 2008, the first trading day after the date on which the previously announced special cash dividend of $5.23 per share will be paid. Allscripts common stock is now trading without the right to the special cash dividend.
