SunPower Corporation (Nasdaq: SPWRA) 19.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.24, ex-items, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter was $298 million, versus the consensus of $263.25 million. Narrows its FY09 revs from $1.3-$1.7 billion to $1.35-$1.7 billion, versus the consensus of $1.32 billion. Net income of $115-$160 million.

Riverbed Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: RVBD) 19% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.14, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter was $91.6 million, versus the consensus of $93.60 million.

Align Technology (Nasdaq: ALGN) 17% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.07, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $76.3 million, versus the consensus of $69.70 million. For the third quarter of fiscal 2009 (Q3 09), Align Technology expects net revenues to be in a range of $71.0 million to $74.5 million. GAAP earnings per diluted share for Q3 09 is expected to be in a range of $0.03 to $0.05. (Consensus is $68.88M and $0.03, respectively) As of June 30, 2009, Align had $143.1 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term marketable securities compared to $110.2 million as of December 31, 2008.

Silicon Image (Nasdaq: SIMG) 14.7% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.06, in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $37.3 million, versus the consensus of $41.15 million. Sees Q3 revs of $44-$46 million, versus the consensus of $49.3 million.

Woodward Governor (Nasdaq: WGOV) 14.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.36 versus the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter was $386 million, versus the consensus of $388.29 million. Sees FY09 EPS $1.56 versus $1.52 consensus. Sees FY09 sales $1.45 billion versus consensus $1.46 billion.

NetScout Systems (Nasdaq: NTCT) 12.6% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.18, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $58.1 million, versus the consensus of $63.95 million. Reinstates $3.5 million share buyback. Reaffirms forecast.

Deckers Outdoor (Nasdaq: DECK) 11.9% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.22 which may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $102.5 million, versus the consensus of $102.64 million. Sees FY09 revenues up 9% to 10%.

Healthways (Nasdaq: HWAY) 10.5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.26, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $177.8 million, versus the consensus of $172.44 million. Raises its FY09 revs from $652-$680 million to $685-$700, versus $688.5 million. EPS move from $0.90-$1.04 to $0.97-$1.05, versus the consensus of $0.96.

Juniper Networks (Nasdaq: JNPR) 8.5% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.19, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter was $786.4 million, versus the consensus of $767.33 million.

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) 7.8% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.34, versus the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter was $13.1 billion, versus the consensus of $14.37 billion. Sees FY09 operating expense of $26.6-$26.9 billion.

Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) 7.4% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.32, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter was $4.65 billion, versus the consensus of $4.69 billion. Sees Q3 sales of $4.75-$5.25 billion, versus the consensus of $4.92 billion.

Citizens Banking (Nasdaq: CRBC) 7% LOWER; reports a Q2 loss of $2.81 vs. the analyst estimate of ($0.41). Total assets at June 30, 2009 were $12.3 billion, a decrease of $693.9 million or 5.3% from March 31, 2009 and a decrease of $881.7 million or 6.7% from June 30, 2008.

J&J Snack Foods (Nasdaq: JJSF) 6.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.80, 15 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter was $179.8 million, versus the consensus of $183.50 million.

Con-Way (NYSE: CNW) 6.5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.64, which does not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $1.06 billion, versus the consensus of $1.11 billion.

AmSurg (Nasdaq: AMSG) 5.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.45, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $168. million, versus the consensus of $166.06 million. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.42-$0.44 on sales of $660-$680 million.

Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) 5.9% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.64 cont ops, 9 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.73).

American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) 5.5% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.27, versus the analyst estimate of $0.26. Sales for the quarter fell 18% to $6.09 billion.

Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM) 5.3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.03, versus the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $1.04 billion, versus the consensus of $984.40 million. Sees Q3 revs of $1.115-$1.185 billion, versus the consensus of $1.02 billion.

CA (NYSE: CA) 4.7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.42, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter was $1.05 billion, versus the consensus of $1.03 billion. Pixelworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PXLW) 4.7% LOWER; reports Q2 non-GAAP loss of $0.07, compared to a loss of $0.15 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $14.2 million, versus $10.8 million in Q208. Sees Q3 loss of $0.18 to a gain of $0.02, on sales of $15-$17 million.

Select Comfort Corporation (Nasdaq: SCSS) 4.3% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.01, 11 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter was $120.6 million, versus the consensus of $122.20 million.

Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) 4.2% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.86, 15 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter was $1.25 billion, versus the consensus of $1.35 billion. "...We expect third-quarter 2009 earnings per share to be approximately $1.10. Chubb Corporation (NYSE: CB) 4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.54, 24 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.31. Revenue for the quarter was $2.8 billion, versus the consensus of $2.96 billion. The new 2009 operating income per share guidance of $5.20 to $5.50 replaces the guidance of $4.80 to $5.20 that was provided last January. (Consensus is $5.15)

Interactive Brokers Group Inc. (Nasdaq: IBKR) 4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.31, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $332 million, versus the consensus of $283.98 million.

Informatica (Nasdaq: INFA) 4% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.19, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $117.3 million, versus the consensus of $117.90 million.

Microsemi (Nasdaq: MSCC) 3.8% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.21, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $107 million, versus the consensus of $105.87 million.
