Activist Investor Richard Breeden Joins STERIS (STE) Board
STERIS Corporation (NYSE: STE) announced the appointment of two new directors to its Board. Richard C. Breeden and Robert H. Fields have joined the STERIS Board, expanding the number of members of the Board to twelve from the previous ten.
Mr. Breeden will serve on the Board's Compensation and Corporate Governance Committee and Mr. Fields will serve on the Audit and Financial Policy Committee.
Richard Breeden runs activist hedge fund Breeden Capital, which owns an 8.16% stake in STERIS. [LJ]
