AU Optronics (AUO) Announces 10.9% Jump in Nov. Revs

AU Optronics Corp. (NYSE: AUO) announced its preliminary consolidated November 2012 revenue of NT$33,901 million, up by 1.4% month-over-month and up by 10.9% year-over-year.
For November 2012, Large-sized panel(a) shipments, with applications on desktop monitor, notebook PC, LCD TV and other applications, were over 10.70 million units, an increase of 8% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments almost reached 13.20 million units, down by 5.8% month-over-month.
(a) Large size refers to panels that are 10 inches and above in diagonal measurement while small and medium size refers to those below 10 inches.
