AK Steel (AKS) Increases Prices on All Carbon and Stainless Flat Rolled Steel Products
AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) will increase spot market prices for all carbon and stainless flat rolled steel products.
Spot market prices for carbon steel products will be increased effective with all new orders for July and August shipments. Base prices for hot rolled products will increase by $60 per ton. Base prices for cold rolled products will increase by $70 per ton. And, base prices for all galvanized, galvannealed and aluminized coated products will increase by $80 per ton. Zinc coating extras have also been increased.
