AECOM (ACM) Gets $289M Maintenance Services Task Order from USAF CFT

AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), has won a task order from the U.S. Air Force for Contract Field Teams (CFT) valued at $289.2 million over a 34-month duration, if all performance periods and options are exercised.
The CFT contract is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Army Central Command to supplement its aviation-support facilities with full-time maintenance services.
Under this task order, which begins on May 1, 2012, more than 1,000 new AECOM employees will provide maintenance support for a wide variety of aircraft at multiple locations throughout Southwest Asia and the Middle East.
