Safeway Inc. (NYSE: SWY)...In response to recent inquiries, Melissa Plaisance, Senior Vice President, Finance & Investor Relations, will host a brief conference call on Friday, June 15th to review Safeway's previously discussed temporary shift in financial policy (including its plan to pay down debt and return its financial ratios to prior levels by the end of 2013), its recent opportunistic floating rate note issuance and its continued excellent access to the commercial paper market.
The call is scheduled to be held at 11:00 a.m. ET (8:00 a.m. PT) on Friday, June 15, 2012.
