Apple's (AAPL) Cook Said Carriers Make Up iPhone Subsidies with 24-Mo. Contract; Co. Reported $7.9B in Sales in China in Q2

Speaking on the conference call, Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) Tim Cook said the company had $7.9 billion in sales from China during Q2.

Related to phone sales, Cook said carriers make up iPhone subsidies with the 24-month contract. He said the iPhone helps carriers entice customers to upgrade.
