Iran was facing tremendous economic headwinds due to sanctions from all over the world. So Iran decided to lower its nuclear ambition for producing nuclear power instead of nuclear weapon. But I am 100% sure that those nuclear weapon's ambitions are not gone yet. Iran just waiting for its economy to mop up good wealth more than sufficient wealth from crude oil to stand against any such kind of sanctions if it is to develop Nuclear weapons ahead in coming years or decade.
