U.S. Light Vehicle Sales Rose 13.6% in Oct.; SAAR at 18.2M Units, Topping Expectations - Autodata (F) (GM) (FCAU)

Autodata reported that SAAR came in at 18.24 million units for 2015 in October, while estimates were calling for a reading of 17.7 million units. SAAR came in at 18.17 million units in September 2015.

Total U.S. light vehicle sales were 1455,516 units last month, up 13.6 percent over the prior year. Passenger car sales rose 4.1 percent to 620,733 units, while light truck sales increased 21.9 percent to 834,783 units.
