PeakBiety branding + advertising celebrates 25 years of adding value to brands

March 23, 2015 12:49 PM EDT

TAMPA, Fla., March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PeakBiety branding + advertising announces the celebration of a major milestone. The month of March marks the agency's 25th year in business. In a volatile industry where some agencies barely outlast the ad campaigns they create, PeakBiety's longevity can be viewed as a significant achievement.

"We are proud of the body of work we have produced for many terrific clients over the years," says Glen Peak, president, one of the agency's founders. "We are especially proud of how the agency has evolved from a traditional advertising agency to embrace digital capabilities for today's more complex communications world."

PeakBiety opened its doors in 1990 with a lot enthusiasm and zero clients. Originally known as Peak, Barr, Petralia, Biety (PB2), the name was later shortened to PeakBiety after the departure of two of the original partners. Since its inception, PeakBiety has been one of the few Tampa- or Florida-based agencies to hold membership in the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A's). In 1999, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce recognized the agency as Small Business of the Year.

Peak still actively manages agency accounts and functions as its brand strategist. He credits the agency's core philosophy of balancing marketing savvy with creative flair as instrumental in its long-term success. "We're not strictly a design-only or digital-only shop. We work to understand a client's business and its audience so that we can create communication and media plans that influence results."

In addition to Peak, the agency boasts a deeply experienced core team consisting of Amy Phillips, creative director, and Donette Arcos, media director. Both have been with the agency for more than a decade.

Throughout its history, PeakBiety has served large national brands such as Nokia, as well as a host of regional and local companies. Its experience spans many business sectors including utilities, healthcare, professional services, consumer products, manufacturing, technology and financial services.

In addition, the agency has long given its time and talent to support nonprofit causes. Over the years, it has developed branding/advertising for the American Cancer Society, Eckerd, Heartbeat International, Pasco-Pinellas Heart Gallery, Prevent Blindness-FL, Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, the Hillsborough County Crisis Center, the Children's Home and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
