New Apple (AAPL) iPad Air Listings on eBay in U.K. Outpace iPad Mini, Android Tablets

While eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) isn't the primary source for sales info for a company, the site can be useful when gathering information about consumer sentiment.
TheNextWeb noted Thursday that listings for Apple tablets in the U.K. for post-Christmas sales have been active. The site said listing for iPad Air tablets outnumbered those for iPad minis by a four-to-one ratio. In total, 1,000 new iPad Air listings were made.
Also, those in the U.K. are holding on to Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android devices, with only about 200 listings for those tablets made today.
It might be that the lower average selling price of the Android means those with the tablets see little financial incentive to unload them immediately.
Shares of Apple are up in early trading Thursday.
