BlackBerry Sinks as OS Loses Share (BBRY) (AAPL) (MSFT) (GOOG)

Shares of BlackBerry (Nasdaq: BBRY) declined early on Wednesday. According to IDC, BlackBerry's OS lost share in the global market place, dropping to 2.9% vs 4.9% last year.
Apple OS (Nasdaq: AAPL) also lost share, declining to 13.2% vs 16.6%.
Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows share was 3.7% vs 3.1% last year.
Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android was the top operating system with 79.3% of the global market, up from 69.1%.
Smartphone makers shipped a total of 236.4 million smarthphones in Q2, up 51.3% year-over-year and 9.3% quarter-over-quarter, said IDC.
