Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android took a little more mobile market share away from everyone else last month.

According to StatCounter, Android's market share on smartphones and tablets is about 43.5 percent, from 42.8 percent the prior month and 32.9 percent in March 2013.

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS saw a slight tick higher, from 32.8 percent in February to 33.2 percent in March 2014. iOS had 39.4 percent of the mobile market in March 2013.

Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone OS was flat at 1.78 percent. There was no other category for Windows 8 mobile, so we assume they were lumped together.
