UBS reiterates a 'Buy' on Ann Inc. (NYSE: ANN) price target of $40.00 (from $33.00).
Analyst, Roxanne Meyer, noted that ANN's Q2 earnings report topped her estimate of $0.51 (in-line with Street consensus) by $0.12/share. Citing positive comps from Ann Taylor (plus less promotional) and increased momentum heading into August, Meyer raises FY13/14 EPS estimates from $2.11/$2.54 to $2.26/$2.67. Overall, the UBS analyst has more confidence given greater visibility and sales/margins catalysts.
